My Story

Hi there, Aloha! My name is Corrie and I am the founder and steward of Mi Corazón Cacao. It is with great honor and reverence that I am here holding this sacred plant.

Cacao found me during a time when I was seeking deeper connection within myself and with the Earth. I was feeling very lost and alone, and had this inner knowing that I would find my way back home to myself again. Through the healing work of plants, I heard a call to connect with the spirit of cacao.

What began as a personal ritual quickly blossomed into a path of healing, remembrance, and heart opening transformation.

As I sat with this revered plant, I felt called to share it in a way that honored its roots and the wisdom it carries. In 2019, I moved to the island of Maui to find stillness and reconnect with myself in a new way and to truly listen to my own heart and the voice of the Earth. In that silence, a prayer was answered: to carry, hold and share cacao, and to help others remember their own hearts, enjoy meaningful moments of ritual, and reconnect with themselves.

This business was born from that journey, an offering of wild harvested, ethically sourced ceremonial cacao that supports both inner awakening and regenerative practices. It’s more than a product; it’s a bridge back to the heart, back to the Earth, and back to each other.
